After large reconstruction, we ceremonially opened our showroom on Rohanské nábřeží in Prague on 6 June.
The reconstruction had been planned for some time. We felt it was time to modernise the showroom and make it more visually attractive so that our products could stand out more.
In creating the assignment for the architects, we were inspired by the showrooms of famous brands in London’s Clerkenwell area, which is a significant international centre of design. An important aspect for us was the design of the shop windows, the lighting of the products as well as the choice of mostly neutral colours since our products themselves are colourful enough.
We entrusted archicraft, headed by architect Miroslav Krátký, with a new design of the new showroom. And we were fascinated by the very first version, which we approved without any objection. The renovation was done by Unlimit Db.
The showroom is now divided into clusters, which allow different types of furniture and design families to stand out and to be arranged more clearly. The individual products are placed either on the floor or on a platform, so they can he tried out immediately. Some products are placed on minimalist shelves, so customers can view and touch them as much as they want to.
The architects also did a great job on the shop window, which they optimised not only for the eyes of pedestrians but also for passing cars. The furniture in the window is placed on pedestals of different heights and it looks nicely playful. The interior is divided from the exterior by a textile curtain.
We are very happy about the new showroom and about the excellent cooperation with the two companies that designed and created it. If you happen to be passing by, make sure to pop in and try out our seating furniture. We are looking forward to seeing you!
